    Paradise
The Quran describes paradise as a place where men will be rewarded with wide-eyed houris. The exact number is not specified in the Quran itself but is mentioned in the Hadith as 72, plus the women he married on Earth. Women on the other hand receive no such thing, they will be reunited with their husband whether they like it or not. If they have more than one they will choose which one they prefer. No choice of whether they don't want any is mentioned in the Quran. A women who may have been abused by her husband/s will endure the rest of eternity with them.

"Every man in heaven will go to 72 of the creatures of Allah (Houris) and 2 of the women of mankind,
these two women are superior to the creatures of Allah (Houris) with their worshipping (good deeds) they had performed in this world."
(Bayhaqi, al-Bas wa'n-Nushur; Tabari, Tafsir; Abu Yala, Ibn Hajar, Fathu'l-Baari, Tabarani and others)

Yusuf Ali 44:51-54: As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, Among Gardens and Springs; Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.

Bukhari vol.6:402: "The statement of Allah, Beautiful fair females restrained in pavilions. Narrated Qaisi, Allah's Apostle said, 'In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them(all).'"

Tirmizi vol. 2: "Every man who enters paradise shall be given 72 (seventy-two) houris; no matter at what age he had died, when he is admitted into paradise, he will become a thirty-year-old, and shall not age any further. A man in paradise shall be given virility equal to that of one hundred men."

Bukhari vol.4:544: "Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, 'The first group of people who will enter Paradise? Their wives will be Houris. All of them [Muslim men] will look alike and will resemble their father Adam (in stature), sixty cubits tall.'"

Quran 52:20: The God-fearing shall be reclining on couches facing each other, and We shall wed them to maidens with large, beautiful eyes

Quran 4:57: "And those who believe and do good works. We shall make them enter Gardens through which streams flow, to abide therein for ever; therein shall they have pure spouses, and We shall admit them to a place of plenteous shade".

In paradise our emotions and ability to judge are removed by the Almighty himself. We will feel 'blissful' for the rest of eternity. It matters not to a women if her husband mistreated her on Earth, she will no longer feel any hate towards him in heaven. She will feel happy upon being reunited. She will also feel no jealousy towards her husband as he spends the rest of eternity cheating on her with the houris of paradise. However a mans jealousy is not worthy of fixing it seems, his women will not want to look upon another man but he is allowed to look upon other women.

Tafseer; Ibn Katheer: 'Maidens chaste and restraining their glances 'meaning fresh and tender, absolutely and exclusively reserved for their husbands, and they will not see anything more handsome than their husbands.'

Quran 55:56: "In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched"

Quran 55:70,72,74: "In them will be fair (Maidens), good, beautiful; ... Houris restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions; ... Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched"

One must ask what the point of this is or how we even become like this? The Quran mentions a change in our nature in paradise but these descriptions of the place require our very DNA and brains to be entirely rewritten in order for such a heaven to exist. Our entire way of thinking as a human being cannot allow us to survive in such a place for a even few months, never mind eternity without losing it. Heaven depicts men as sex beasts with no decency, it depicts women as a mere sex object and nothing more. Our earthly selves abhor this view. We all want more meaning in life than this but heaven takes that away from us under a false sense of bliss.

This idea of heaven raises many questions-
    - What is the point of being reunited with your husband when he no longer needs to act as if he is one?
    - If heaven leaves you in a state of bliss like no other we have ever felt before than what is the need for this pointless sex?
    - Why are women viewed as a gender with no sexual needs?
    - Why does God need to manipulate us in order for us to enjoy heaven? Are we incapable of being happy in our current state?
    - Why does God feel any body with any decency could enjoy such a place?
    - Why take away our reason and emotions?
    - Why allow extra-marital sex when it is considered such a sin?
    - Why the emphasis on virgin houris?
    - Why the emphasis on sex?
    - Why has God pigeon-holed us into such a resentful stereo-type?
