    Also called  "sadaka garya"
1-I was wondering about the driving force behind good deeds in general , is it for more points ?
    and

2-what about the ideology of a Good deed that will bring u more "hassanat" even after your death
Bad/good What do u think about it?

3-When u were a believer, why did u do good deeds?

    Confucius:
"What you do not like done to yourself, do not unto others."

2- there is a concept in islam , so popular in egypt . that if u build a mosque for example, u get points even after ur death
so do u think this is a good ideology to have or a bad one
and if religion allows u to make good things , does that mean it isnt all bad?
or is it that doing good things for a supernatural cause , not really a good intention?

"What you do not like done to yourself, do not unto others."

    Sounds like a good investment

depends what you do with it - if you spend it on a care facility for handicapped children its good.

agreed.  I also thing if religion is channelled well then heaven can be a great incentive for free volountary charity work

Intention is selfish, but the end results can be great.  Look at all the missionary work being carried out in Africa or Mother Teresa in India for example.  Had she not been a Christian, and brought up as a nun then she might not have bothered.

    agreed .
    - but with atheism u have no such incentives thus religion is better??
but some might argue with religion comes other bad things, and with atheism u lose such incentives

so which is better for the masses religion , atheism or alittle bit of religion ??
