I'm having trouble finding a tafsir which explains this verse.  If you have some please would you paste them?  I'm about to upload a video and I want to use this verse at the end.

I don't come here any more due to unfair moderation.

    That's a great website, thanks!

I'm trying to find a Quran equivalent of this phrase in the Bible
    http://bible.cc/john/20-29.htm

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

    i.e. Believe without proof.

[029:050]    (Yet) they say, “Why did a miracle from his Lord not come down to him.” Say, “Indeed, the miracles are all with Allah, I am evidently a warner.”

I think this one will do

Cant think of one of the top of my head - reason is because the Quran does the opposite, & spends a lot of time giving us these "proofs"

These so-called "proofs" mostly revolve around how he gave us the quran, trees, animals, food etc

Cheesy Just reminded me of this

Narrated ‘Abdur-Rahman: "I asked Masruq, ‘Who informed the Prophet about the Jinns at the night when they heard the Qur'an?’ He said, ‘Your father ‘Abdullah informed me that a tree informed the Prophet about them.’"

Trees can talk, anybody that doesn't believe me should drop some acid.

    Sahih Muslim 41:6985

    until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him;

but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

i think their is a hadith similar

When the Prophet visited Al Bakki’ (a burial-ground in Madienah next to the Prophet’s mosque) before his death, he told his companions:” I wish I could see my brothers.” They replied:”Aren’t we your brothers?” The Prophet said:”No, you are my companions, my brothers are those who didn’t see me and yet follow me and believe in me. I’ll wait for them on Al Hawdh (the Place where the Prophet is going to give all survivors a handful water from his noble hands that will make them never feel thirsty again after this hard day-the Judgment Day- and this will be directly before interring Paradise).

but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Its funny how the Quran is put together, its almost as if Mo was showing off all his knowledge, however irrelevent, in one book to make it sound Holy & interesting.

Take the above quote for example, Mo is trying to make up a story and trying to stir Muslim tension & angst over Jews.

So make out these Jews are sneaky & in hiding, oh I know that there is a tree in Israel called the gharqad tree, put the 2 together and youve got a story capable of generating interest amongst most half-witted 3 year olds.

    lol oh boy..

It seem like all the buildings in Israel would collapse, and only these thin tiny trees would left. Jews would have to climb in them and hide in the leaves which would have survived from the mass extinction of the buildings.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
