Hi
I received a mail where someone was selling t-shirts with Arabic writing on
One of my family members then replied that you are not allowed to enter the bathroom with that, is there any hadiths out there that says one is either allowed or not allowed to wear in the bathroom? I would prefer to find a hadith that allows it even if it has the word Allah inscribed on it so that I can mail back with some proof that we can enter the loo with arabic lettering.
This is the mail that was received and replies from family members

it's not ayahs it's words. like peace. it's pretty there is no islamic repurcussion to it. Allah's name is not on it. Just a word baba:)

Just had this talk with my former manager. I learnt that Allah’s name and the Prophet’s (saw) name you cannot got in the toilet and obviously any Islamic literature, but learnt at the same time that if it’s a normal name in Arabic you can go to the loo with it. This I heard the time the necklaces came out with the Arabic names on. You could go to a jeweler (theres one in lenz) and the do a gold Arabic version of your name as a locket type thing. and that you didn’t need to remove when entering the loo apparently.

My point exactly, Arab people aren’t all Muslim. And I think its important to ensure that the 99 names aren’t among that I suppose. My take.
