  • T-shirt ideas (Quran & Hadith)
     OP - January 22, 2011, 05:00 PM

    Hello,

I'm thinking about getting couple of t-shirts printed with messages directed at Muslims. Obviously, caricatural sarcasm like "Say my religion is peaceful or die!" is out of the question because the average Muslim can easily dismiss it. I want something that maximizes cognitive dissonance in their brains.

Some hadiths like those about killing apostates are too easy to rationalize by invoking the context of a war (I know, since I used that argument countless times).

Can anyone think of the most damning (yet concise) quotes from Islamic holy texts?

    Thank you,

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

    Surah 14:4
Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will.

    Followed by

    Surah 22:19-21
But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads; Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted; And for them are hooked rods of iron

    Thank you,

Quran 5:70 “As you can clearly see, the Jews are cursed till the end of time. Allah tried to help them.”

Sahih  Bukhari 4:260 The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.’

Sahih Muslim 26:5389 The Prophet said: “Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when
you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it”.

Sahih  Bukhari 1:11:582: Allah's Apostle said, "When the Adhan is pronounced Satan takes to his heels and passes wind with noise during his flight in order not to hear the Adhan”

Hadith of Hamnah bint Jahsh: According to the prophet the monthly menstruation for a woman is “a kick from the shaytaan”

Sahih Bukhari 1:7368  The Prophet forbade laughing at a person who passes wind.

Sahih Bukhari Bk. 54, Number 516: If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash
his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night

Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Bk. 58, Number 188: During the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them.

I'm looking forward to wearing it while going thru security check at an airport... dance

I would recomend not to use anything that says something about christians and jews. You don't want unneccessory attention from majority.
