I just wanted to ask you all what you think about how in the Qur'an where it talks about the pharoah while being drowned repenting.. but allah rejects it and damns him anyway

    here is the verse

"....till when drowning overtook him (Pharoah) he said 'I believe that there is no god but the One whom the children of Israel believed in and I have submitted.' What, now? After you had refused to believe before, and were of the corrupters? So this day shall We deliver you in your body that you may be a sign (admonition) to those after you. And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our signs." Yunus(10):90-92

Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" And he was arrogant and insolent in the land, beyond reason,- He and his hosts: they thought that they would not have to return to Us! So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong! And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find. In this world We made a curse to follow them and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised). [38:42]

Since it never actually happened, I'm not too worried about it. Smiley

LOL of course ... but muslims believe that their god is merciful and kind.. doesn't this prove otherwise

     Cry Cry Cry Cry

whenever i was a muslim i could never understand why would a kind and merciful god give a person infinite punishment for their finite sins.. isn't that cruel and unjust..

    Bowser welcome..

You are not supposed to ask questions OR BROWSE THE WEB SITES that explores and explains   on what is there in Quran.

The movement you start asking question you are crossing the limits and that is the end of Faith...

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

i could never let these things go when i was a muslim.. i always felt sympathy for people like pharoah.. like i know they killed and were opressive and claimed divinity i can see why god would drown him.. but the whole idea of eternal damnation i could never understand.. i guess ur right it's all about faith..

    finite crimes= infinite punishment
