  • Statistics regarding persecution of apostates
     OP - February 23, 2012, 03:28 AM

I'm working on a booklet that is suppose to raise concerns for ex-Muslims and I can't seem to find any statistics on it as to how many apostates have been persecuted by Muslims and how many face imprisonment by councils etc. Any suggestions?

As you would expect, the research in this area is almost non-existent. Crime surveys in the UK and US don't exactly have sections for persecuted ex-Muslims and I wouldn't expect any soon. The closest I could find is this page from wikiislam (which isn't a site I recommend or endorse) which has made q list of cases, and I think qualitive data is the closest we can get at the moment. Sorry.
