    In fact it is usually the poor who are more pious and have a stronger deen than the rich from my observations so the guy is talking out of his ass.

    Definitely. That stuff that he said is so horrible and disgusting, especially what he said about them women dying. As the person who wrote the article said, it is all very easy for him to say.

    Reminds me of the old saying we have:

    Neem Hakeem, Khatra-e-Jaan
    Neem Mullah, Khatra-e-Imaan
    Neem Siasatdaan, Khatra-e-Pakistan

    Translation:
    The bogus medicine man is a danger to life
    The bogus mullah is a danger to faith
    The bogus politician is a danger to Pakistan

    This Neem Mullah JJ should dump this ridiculous phase of his life and go back to singing songs which changed Pakistani music all over, rather than disgust us with his misguided and laughable religious chauvinism.

    Oh yes, a VERY popular singer who was part of a band called Vital Signs and then had a good solo career as well. Until he found the Deobandi version of Allah and became a degenerate who still gets royalty payments from his old sponsors as well as owning a very expensive men's shalwar kameez chain which is a fucking rip-off.

    I bought this really really crap kurta from there for Rs2000! And he claims to be all moral?!

    What do you expect - Isnt that just UK15 pounds  You cant even get decent T-shirts in the UK for that amount!

    I know, but the one I bought was a really really crap one and probably the cheapest one there. From Tench Bazaar, you can get Kurtas that are a million times better for Rs500.

    And also, considering the average salary in Pakistan is probably less than Rs10000 a month, Rs2000 for a piece of crap is pretty despicable.

    At least the cheapest Armani Suit is still very good quality. His stuff is just rubbish and overpriced. He's even got a shop in Birmingham but noone goes there, thank god.

    I went to his shop in Pakistan last year but all of the stuff in there was too bling, even for my wedding day.  I prefer simple plain salwaar kameez.

    If only Junaid Jamshed didn't catch the religious bug, he could've made so much more great music.

    I hope A R Rahman NEVER catches the religious bug!

    F--- me! Dunno about the religious bug but A.R Rahman converted from hinduism to islam. All he needs to do now is go on hajj and soon enough he'll stop making great music!
