  • Arabic Translation (Paid)
     OP - May 09, 2012, 06:41 PM

Hey is anyone interested in helping me translate a website into Arabic?

The website is an interactive historical atlas of the Mediterranean and is a good resource for teaching kids history from a secular perspective.

    This is the site.

Don't be put off by the ammount of stuff on the site, I know it is a lot. My intention is to just start translating some parts of it to begin with.

Since there is a lot of content that needs translating, I am willing to pay someone. If anyone is interested PM me and I can explain the full details.

If you guys visit the site and are put off by all the names of ancient peoples and cities, don't worry about that stuff as I can easily look up all of those on the Arabic wikipedia. The only real prerequesite for this is to have a good understanding of Modern Standard Arabic Grammar, because even the majority of the vocabulary can be worked out using google translate.

I will do all I can to make it easy as possible for someone to work on. I could even provide a table for most of the placenames in Arabic that the site mentions so that anyone could quickly look them up.

Translation work is not as difficult as it seems at first.
