also weight is never in kilos(weight in a colloquial context != weight in a scientific context, i thought we already talked about words not meaning the same thing in science as they do in da reel wurld)

All scales I have seen in my life were in Kilos, pounds, stones, etc. Never in Newtons. SC may use his own scale of course.

    SC is just trolling now.

Another problem: its diameter is about 2.5 Earths, so the mass is about 6.5 times that of the Earth. Humans cannot stand on such a planet; the average person would weigh 500-600 kilos there! Roll Eyes

I think you assumed same density, but forgot one dimension there:
    2.5*2.5 = 6.25 ~ 6.5
But since we do not live in a flat universe:
    2.5*2.5*2.5 = 15.626

Do not look directly at the operational end of the device.

It would be almost twice the weight of earth not six times?

Twitter was awesome for this. The planet had just been discovered… and Twitter was trending a topic where you replace a word in a song title with the word ‘poo’.

Seriously. The discovery of an earth–like planet wasn’t trending. A topic called #ReplaceSongTitlesWithPoo was!

Well I suck at math. But still I think the weight or a person would be different over there if the mass of that planet was larger then the mass of the earths plant, it would produce more gravitational force.

On second thought, we are unable to say anything about this planet's mass. We don't know the density of the stone planet, we don't know how thick the atmosphere is (could be a small version of Jupiter f.i). I didn't take these things in account. Anyway, stil an interesting structure!

For the few astronauts who have experienced this, they have described it as a ”seared steak” and “sulfurous” to “a rather sweet metallic sensation.”They are developing this smell on Earth for astronauts in training so that they can avoid the potential sensory shock....

I meant gravitational force. So, you'd weigh twice as much as you'd weigh on earth, your mass of course would be the same as it is on the earth.

who cares about the weight as long as your mass doesn't change King Tut  and you need to put on some mass man...........

May be you are better of doing some Astrophysics not Electronics Tut......

Well if the mass doesn't change and stays the same as it is on earth, for us earthlings we would hardly be able to stand up, most humans cannot lift their own body weight. Yes I need to put on some mass so I can gain some weight, I have been trying to put on some mass recently, I have increased my caloric intake.

Too much math in astrophysics and physics in general for me to find it enjoyable. Though I did get A* (Science) (GCSE) and, a A for my A level (GCE) passing grade in Physics, it was one of my favourite subjects. I fucked up on maths by barely getting a C grade GCSE.

So I am pretty content with electronics . LOL
