While this is a great story, I don't think this makes one iota of difference for the de facto religious freedom of minors.

The judge is deciding on the child's rights vs. the parent's rights, not Judaism vs. Christianity.

Imagine the chaos if the girl in story was muslim who decided to accept Jesus. grin12

It was a mega brainwashing conspiracy through and through. First off the kid was brainwashed to believe that she needed religion[supposedly a basic need !]. Secondly her father was brainwashed to believe that he needed to become a Christian because it was Judaism that made his wife so quarrelsome. Thirdly the girl who must have been more attached to her father was readily brainwashed to believe that since her mother was a JEW, it was her religion that made her so repulsive ergo she thought she would be better off if she became a Christian!
After making a lot of 'free' choices the kid, now a woman might hopefully in the near future see through the sham of all religions and make the free choice to be an atheist/agnostic/humanist !
