    You know the concept behind water bottles mineral water. How about bottled O2? bottled oxygen. Pure bottled oxygen, imagine it being available in you local shop, pure oxygen is proven to boost mental and psychical performance of the body and also down aging by 25%... This is genuine, and a better idea then bottled water... This will really help ppl, take a bottle of pure oxygen into your exam, clear you mind!

    This can work, I just don't know where to take my idea other then dragons den. Or something...

    Yeah I want to make money from air, the shit you've been breathing since birth! I still think I have an awesome idea. I am going to propose it to my mom and dad... They should have some contacts some place.

    I did think what if someone steals my idea... But there is more to it, this is just one aspect. If you pay me £250,000 I'll sell you all of my idea behind it, how to market it, and make money form it.

    the cost of isolating the oxygen would probably be quiet high. also the moment the bottle will be opened by the consumer the oxygen will quickly be dissolved with air found in the natural environment. Smiley

    well john I am slightly tipsy. And it bottled water can work I am sure this can work too. I am sure folks laughed at the idea of bottled water too. But the reality of it is, there are fools out there, with more money then brains. If strap-on's for males can be sold I am sure bottled oxygen can too.

    No, the cost is not that high. Also, it will have a mask like face holder on it so it will be regulated.

    They are already doing that by selling 'oxygenated' water, and ripping millions off people's money.

    Already been done in the US at least. About 5-6 years ago I stopped at a gas station just outside the Holland Tunnel on the Jersey side, and they had canisters of Oxygen for sale.

    Pure oxygen is toxic as fuck. The thing you are talking about is simply air (normally with 21% O2) with slightly elevated O2 content.

    Hyperbaric O2 is not safe unless stringent controls and expert Docs are around the patient. But 90 to 95% O2 Treatments are routine.. In fact King tut idea is Ok., There are plenty of People started that..  But For Pakistan that is  agood idea

    Word treatment is the key here.

    "Oxygen therapy is like a two-edged sword, at one edge oxygen is essential for human survival, while at the other edge it may
    become toxic at an elevated partial pressure. This is a hazard, especially in intensive care units, where oxygen therapy may be
    administered over a period of days."

    The benefits outweigh the issues associated with such treatment - CO does much more damage in comparison.

    Products of Oxygen metabolism are extremely reactive and they do a lot of damage on the cellular level.

    After all the reason why Oxygen is used in ATP synthesis is its reactivity.

    Frankly I am a bit rusty as far as cellular biology is concerned - it's been a few years since I studied it and I don't use it on a daily basis.

    In case you want more proof for Oxygen toxicity use Google - there are loads of good quality sources on the net.

    I'd rather have cans that are full of helium so you can do a comedy squeaky voice on demand, rather than oxygen, which is over-rated as a gas.

    Thank you for that pdf file dear Kenan ., Please either PM me or add here any pdf files that you think are relevant to  Oxygen and its metabolic reactions..

    Incidentally I worked in this field with a well known Biophysicist on  Oxidative Phosphorylation and free radical chemistry in biology  and published more than 20 papers .,  my most recent work on that was pubed in Nature last year March.,  It is very complicated and blaming Tissue damage due free radicals is only one problem..

    The pdf file is a some sort of semi review for Doctors.., They are right in certain aspects  for e.g.

    this oxygen toxicity indeed is a serious problem with patients that can not move and worse specially with COPD patients., it is in fact a wrong method to treat such people as  ARDS guys on ventilators woth 100% O2 ., But the game become quickly different with healthy people that are good enough to consume oxygen and generate ATP + controlled free radicals where they are needed..

    The pulsed oxygen therapy is becoming more popular in well known hyperbaric  research centers in west

    I would say free radicals in biology are as important as ATP synthesis for the growth of an organism with these side reactions controlling deleterious biology that is detrimental to a given organism..

    Impressive! I do agree with what you have posted so far. Frankly cellular biology really isn't my forte - feel free to PM me (or post here) stuff you consider to be relevant.

    Guys, this idea was pitched on dragons den in 2012, this was a good idea, some dudes are actually selling 99% pure oxygen, in a can. They pretty much said the same thing I said about two years ago.

    But they still haven't thought about my marketing idea, which I will not be disclosing in this thread. I knew it was a viable project. Its so cheap as well, to manufacture. But, once I see alot of companies doing, this I might actually open a manufacturing business manufacturing these products too.
