    Dear all,

    I am a postgraduate student doing MA in Islam and the West. I will be doing my dissertation on the subject of interfaith marriages between Muslims and others.

    For this, I need to get individuals who have been involved in interfaith marriages or relationships to fill out a questionnaire on the topic. The questionnaire also addresses converts and those who are perhaps dating someone non-Muslim.

    It has been a little bit difficult to find couples who have intermarried or been involved in interreligious relationships whom I know personally and I thought it might be a good idea to reach out and see if I can find volunteers to do the questionnaire this way. The questions will be sent in advance to any volunteers so that they can have a look first and then decide.

    Please let me know if anyone is interested or know of individuals who could help out.

    I would be really grateful for your help.

    Never did it myself, but I'm assuming most people on this website have a different angle on interfaith marriages, especially since any who may be in one, are ex muslim married to muslim, which I'm thinking would generate very different results, and may even need different questions, or for that to be an area you discuss.

    It all depends on what you're aiming for, entering into an interfaith marriage is (I would guess) vastly different from finding yourself losing the faith you formerly shared with a partner, and being in an interfaith marriage post that.

    I've had a few kafir girlfriends. I'm a guy though.

    Edit: And I was a very non-orthodox, barely a muslim at that point. So my answers will be very different to how a good muslim would've behaved. E.g, I didn't try to convert them or ask them to wear hijab.. Cheesy
