Sounds like someone trying to keep muslims backward. Thinking for yourself is obviously hard.

It's true, you know. Rote memorization, submission, and the obedience required in Islam do make independent thought more difficult.

You know, I get this sort of rage now at religious folk, from any walk of life. I can't even logically discuss their claims.
Maybe Muslims have the same problem. You just see red and start banging your head into the wall.

For most people that fades. You go through a sort of "jehovahs witness" thing and then eventually you just can't be fucked any more.

By Jehovah's Witness thing, do you mean preaching for converts, or beating children who don't sit perfectly still? Because the Witnesses here do both.

A sort of preacher thing I guess, religion is bullshit. Especially if you realise it's bullshit and everyone around you is still following.
