As many of you already know, our
affiliated, sister organization Ex-Muslims of North America (EXMNA) has initiated the
ExMuslimBlogs.com project. Some of the staff and members of CEMB are also part of ExMuslimBlogs.com and EXMNA.
While here on CEMB forum, we have sections for personal blogs as well, the difference is that our blogs are much more personal in nature, and are read by those who visit this site. ExMuslimBlogs.com blogs tend to be more a combination of personal stories and socio-political commentaries, and are distributed on social media throughout the Internet.
The editors of ExMuslimBlogs.com are currently
seeking Ex-Muslims who are in the closet about their apostasy, and are having fast or pretend like they’re fasting, in order to appease their families. I know we have lots of Exmuslims like that here on CEMB forum. Your responses will be placed alongside other Exmuslims’ responses in a post about how Exmuslims deal with being pressured to lie and hide food and water, and other how they survive Ramadan in between believing Muslim families. You can read more about this here:
Calling All Closeted Ex-Muslims Forced to Fast During Ramadan.
More info about ExMuslimBlogs.comFrom the site's description:
We consider it our duty to highlight the gems of apostate intellectual discourse to the best of our ability. For this reason we work on bringing together here individual Ex-Muslim bloggers to form an apostate blogging community. Leaving Islam is not a simple or monolithic process. We aim to provide a platform for a wide variety of apostates’ viewpoints in order to help our readers gain a nuanced understanding of the issues around leaving Islam.
Ex-Muslim Blogs is a collection of essays and commentaries from various writers and bloggers, dealing with topics relevant to apostates and individuals from Muslim backgrounds. We deeply appreciate all the time and effort that our Ex-Muslim bloggers are putting into writing, editing, and sharing their ideas.
sourceBloggers receive editorial and research support at all times for everything they write or want to post. Bloggers' privacy and confidentiality are vehemently protected, and anonymity (if you want to use a pseudonym) is perfectly acceptable.
Each blog post is shared with the world via Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ promotional channels (including paid promotions on those sites at times). If you have ever wanted to tell your own story, or share your views in writing on various issues related to religion, apostasy or anything connected to those things, then this may the perfect platform for you to broadcast your voice to other Ex-Muslims and to the world at large.
Here are some blogs posts written by Ex-Muslims that were published on there:
