    Hello beautiful people
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was wondering if any of you ever heard of Kimdonesia, and if anyone knows what happened with her? Back in my religious days I was a huge fan of her YouTube channel, and used to chat with her a lot on the Islam chat forum, where her fiancé also used to come a lot. I still remember how shocked I was when she released a video stating that she was no longer a Muslim. Her apostasy opened my eyes to the possibility of leaving Islam and I guess I owe her a lot. Was just curious to hear if she ever used the website here and how she's doing. Her leaving Islam caused quite a dramatic reaction to many Muslims  I remember.

Holy sh*t, just read her intro thread. Wow, no wonder she just decided to disappear from the Internet. Sigh.

From seeing her id name, she is a western women and not Arab.Is that right ?

I mean, you said, she leaving Islam caused quite a dramatic reaction to many Muslims..If a strict Arab women leaves Islam, now that is really something. If any other religious women who were converted to Islam leaves it means, now that is not really shocking because they were brain washed and brought into this religion probably when they are adult and they were already in some other religion before.

Hey Sameer, it's true she was not Arab but Australian. And the reason why it was dramatic was because she was very popular on Youtube, and even appeared on TV in Turkey and so on. So her leaving Islam was upsetting for a lot of people. You can even see the way she was attacked here on CEMB by other Muslims in the link Abu Ali posted.

I haven't seen it work that way for anyone. I have known several people (mostly women--I can think of three women off the top of my head) who converted to Islam and then left after a few years, and none of them had their Muslim friends say "oh well probably you were just brainwashed into joining", primarily because their Muslim friends were the ones who had converted them! No one is going to say "Yeah I brainwashed/intentionally misled you into believing that my religion is true and my God is real, when that's not true at all."

In regards to Kimdonesia, I remember her and the uproar concerning her apostasy. There was another equally famous youtube girl that also left around that time, don't remember who that was. One or both of them had been a niqabi (my memory is complete shit even at the best of times), and I sort of felt when they became a niqabi that that wasn't going to last because it reminded me of my own hyper-religious bipolar episodes, although I quickly suppressed that thought because that made me wonder what I was going to stop doing when I got more sane.

The other one was The Vintage Goth, who was a niqabi for a while.

The below sentences from the above link made me laugh :  grin12

    (1. She couldn't come to terms with the fact that her 'disbeliever' family would go to hell.
2.But according to Islam her family isn't destined for hell. )

All those people have some serious disorders with their brain or whole body and they are really peaceful. That is why if someone leave their religion, they get mad.
And the biggest joke of all as usual is this  --- "Disbelievers go to hell".

You know what,i have heard about and seen some Muslim men and women doing lot of bad things and someday starting to pray properly and showing themselves as a very good person. Then they say,Allah will forgive them and give them heaven..  Cheesy
If that is what called as being good, then i'm more than good because i never ever put my nose in someone else business. I don't brain wash people to do things what i like or what i do.
They talk about women should cover their body.I'm not saying anything wrong about that. But what about those who are wearing sexy dress ? There was this man i know, who said that all people involved in cinema industries will go to hell. Lol...I would like to know what you people think about that ?   :
If there is a God and if it thinks that "Disbelievers go to hell" ,then that is not a God. Some of the phrases used in their holy book are very well done to scare people to be in that religion.Even though not all people in this World are idiots. And by the way, where is hell ?  Can anyone give that address ?  Roll Eyes

I think this was my favourite...

    Quote
We are not accusing you of anything. We are just guessing at your intentions, because anyone who leaves Islam is highly suspect of working for anti-Islam organizations.

From an Islamic perspective, it doesn't make sense at all for someone to leave the religion. It is simply impossible.

Those who leave Islam are people who never completely entered it.

Now that you are here, can you please explain why you left Islam? We have made it clear that your family won't go to hell.

What exactly do you object to about this post?

The Soul Of A Rose will clarify to you the part about your rude/offensive comments

Those who attack people because they left their religion are 'cowards'.
Well, whatever Kim liked or wanted to do in her life, at least she left that religion for good.Of course she don't need to believe that her parents will go to hell when there is nothing exists called as hell. The word 'Hell' is suitable as a nickname for those people who brain wash others.
