    I made this last week.

    Carrot baked custard

This could be done in a pastry shell or just in a greased oven dish.

1 lb of carrots peeled and cut up.  Steam in microwave covered with 2 tbsp of water until soft.  Cool
Put in the blender with 2 cups of milk
Add in 1 cup of flour, 2 eggs, some apple sauce and 1/3 cup of sugar (if you want a sweet custard), 1 tsp cinnamon.

If using a pastry shell bake it first or I baked it all together at 400F for 15 minutes.  The custard needs to back at 325F formabout 45 minites until set.

It tastes similar to pumpkin pie.

I am going to try to bake some custards with some other types of vegetables and more savoury herbs and spices.

I like quiche but those recipes are more egg than milk.

    The unreligion, only one calorie

    Hi Guys...!!!
If you are vegetarian or have guests coming over who are non-meat-eaters, there are options available to use as substitutions for the turkey, and they don’t have to be hard to make or lack in the flavor department.
