8 Months ago a Muslim father murdered his daughter for dishonoring the family. On Friday the court process started.
She was caught shoplifting condoms.

What really surprised me was the fact that the family belonged to the Ahmadiyya community. I thought they were a pretty liberal community.

In my country honor killing very common just like something normal even government can support the family about these criminals because it's not condsider a crime it's consider killing to washing the shame from family of the female

There's no worse more than you born in Middle East and live with the Muslims people !

I had also thought that about the Ahmadiyya. But I have known plenty of atheists and communists who are also completely honour mad. I think culture often trumps religion when it comes to honour.

well three honour and murders of loved ones in the name honour are different issues . So I decided not use the word honour to these acts of murderers.

But the question is where do these murderers killing their own children get this type of violent culture from? Specially culture of killing their women folks ., what family property, what family culture is this murderer protecting?

I am no expert at all, but I have noticed it in areas that were part of the Persian Empire. Perhaps it is from ancient Persia, like veiling?
