when someone tries to google for my github username name(which happens to be my username here) + github they find this:

I really don't want potential employers to see this. Please help!
I already tried contacting the person who owns that github account but no luck.

Hi.

I would move the code and files which you want to remain private to Bit Bucket (https://bitbucket.org). Git Hub (the free account) is completely public and searchable by web crawlers such as Google; whereas the free Bit Bucket account allows you to have private (and public if you wish) source code.

I've been using both Bit Bucket and Git Hub for awhile, I simply put my private work\business source code on Bit Bucket. Also, Bit Bucket has an option where you can simply transfer these files from Git Hub via a web interface - very nice and simple.

As I understand it the OP doesn't have commit access to that project but his user name is in a public list.

The fastest way to reach the maintainer is to open an issue on that projects issue tracker. If the maintainer, alsanaaziz, is still around he should get a bump.

Otherwise I think you should consider a new user name on GitHub.
