Razib Khan: was the Prophet Muhammad a Jew?

Muhammad's sons didn't survive but he had lots of cousins, who descend from Qusay bin Kilab. Their Y-chromosome is labeled L859+. This is closely related to Y-chromosome ZS22012 which is Jewish, more distantly related to other lineages like the Cohen gene.

Always thought there was something about the name "Quraysh". Like "little Koresh", Koresh being a (famously) messianic title in second-temple Judaism and, er, Waco.

let me put this pdf file on those words which gives a hint of why people are thinking in that direction... of ~~Muhammad~~ (BUT WHICH MUHAMMAD) having Relatives in that Jewish Banu Qurayza Tribe .,
