Most exmuslims tend to be liberals/progressives politically but being exmuslim does not mean you are automatically any political position on the political spectrum by default. Exmuslims just like muslims are all over the political spectrum. There is Muslims and exmuslims who are Communists, Socialists, Social- Democrats, Neoliberals, Conservatives, Neoconservatives, Zionists and Nationalists. Many Pakistani Muslims are patriotic far-right Pakistani nationalists who hate all non-Pakistani Bengalis, Indians, Goreh (white people) etc. My UK friends tell me a surprising amount of UK Muslims they know voted for Brexit for xenophobic reasons over their dislike of eastern European citizens coming over to the UK eg. Poles/Lithuanians. I am left-leaning myself politically and I disagree with and condemn Israel’s occupation of Gaza and the settlement building in the West Bank and I didn't agree with the USA foreign military interference.
Kubra what all you are saying there is.,
All Muslims and all Ex-Muslims are NOT monolithic groups and they have different opinions on a given issue.. I would rather be friends with a progressive minded Muslims (who are for things such as human rights and freedom of and from religion) than far-right supporting exmuslims who hate and demonises all Muslims.
far right or far left,
those ex-Muslims who hate Muslims are NOT ex-Muslims ..
Ex-Muslims may hate Islamic ideologies and Islamic ideologues that controls and interferes political/economic/social/family life in so-called Islamic nations ..but I don't think ex-Muslims hate Muslims in general ..
