    I joined ages ago but the forum got lost amidst the mayhem that is my bookmarks folder. But now I'm back!

    I was born to Muslim parents, raised Muslim, questioned a lot of what I was taught and was duly told off and generally mocked for it. I continued to believe well into my twenties and finally let go of it when I was faced with the very real possibility of having to mutilate my son in the name of an outmoded, barbaric culture.

    It was hard letting go. It still is. Which is why I am here Cheesy
