    Will never happen here (in the US) in my lifetime, nor in the generation after that, nor the next, and I seriously doubt it will happen in the UK, either, so I think the question's kinda silly, but if it were, through some magic, to happen here, I'd be organizing a resistance movement, and my AR-15, AK-47, FN FAL, and my handguns would cease to be for the sole purpose of admiring and having fun with by punching little holes in paper targets or breaking glass bottles.

    But unlike many of my fellow Americans on both the right and left-- although the watering down of our Constitutional rights concerns me, along with the expansion of both government and corporate influence on everyday life along with our ridiculously high incarceration rate-- I do not expect to ever wake up in some kind of totalitarian dystopia, nor do I see armed rebellion as any kind of solution to the encroachments on our liberties that we currently face. I left behind my wet dreams of armed socialist/anarchist revolution or being in a "Wolverines"/"Partisan"-like resistance organization fighting foreign occupation a long time ago.

    Sure it's still fun to think about every now and then, but nowadays I spend more time thinking about the coming zombie apocalypse Smiley
