    Mirpur is in Azad Kashmir, which is in Pakistan.

    Its complicated and I don't really understand how it works. Pakistani controlled Kashmir is part of Pakistan but still has some level of autonomy. Mirpur District is a part of Kashmir.

    Where does the need to look at a disgusting story like this and then invent fitting tortures for the perpetrators come from? What part of you does it satisfy and why? Just interested. Sounds  such a familiar concept. I mean, yes it's horrible and they all sound like a bunch of depraved scum bags, but there seems a need to demonstrate how horrible people can be to other people when we see fit. The tabloids often whip up this kind of 'I'll teach those bastards' frenzy - does it really help to show how harsh one can be when we see fit, or is it just the poison in the well spreading?

    I've seen, once in an Indian peodphilia case where the reporter was blowing of the camera advocating death penalty for rape, and was so disappointed with a concurrent Austrian pedophilia case where the father was getting away with a civlized punishment.
