  • Dear Hassan.
     OP - April 09, 2010, 04:03 PM

    Salam Hassan,

I hope you're in good health. I wanted to ask you for some information.
I remember seeing your youtube video about the wonders in the quran and also said that many of the "wonders"were already examined by the greeks, like gaylen and the likes.

Do you have sources from you derived those informations?Or books?
Can you give me some links which directs to the sources itself?

    Many thanx in advance  brother.

    Salam

    Which items in particular?

For example there was a really interesting article I read recently about a conversation between Aristotle and a student in which Aristotle explained to the student that a commonly held belief of the time was incorrect.  The belief was that all our children are already inside the mother's body as tiny perfect humans, and their children within them, etc.

By cutting a bit of shell of chicken eggs Aristotle watched the development of chicks. Now it's quite well known that the Quran's embryology matches Aristotle's biology books very closely, but what REALLY interested me about the account of this conversation was the part where Aristotle explained to the student that the first stage in the emryo's development was.....wait for it.....

    A CLOT OF BLOOD

The first stage is a clot of blood, which sprouts a few arteries, and then starts to convulse with a regular rhythm and later becomes the heart.

There's a picture of Al Alaqa on this page - the embryo after 43 hours.

I can't find the article in question, but this page describes how Aristotle observed the heart being the first part to appear.

I don't come here any more due to unfair moderation.

    Hi Arabie,

The research and links to sources for that vid (with help of others) is on this thread.
