    The bassist/vocalist of American bands Carnivore and Type O Negative passed away. I know not many people here might be interested in the news, but I know there are a couple of metal fans around (Peruvian Skies?) who could be fans of the band.

    Type O easily ranks in my top 10 of favourite bands ever. They stayed excellent till the very end. I'm really distraught. Cocaine is a helluva drug :(

    He was 48.

    Most likely drug related but not verified as far as I know.

    Cocaine is actually the second most harmful drug after heroin.

    Hassan: He had abused all sorts of substances for many, many years. Supposedly he'd been sober for months before his death, but he still paid the price for it. Oh well.

    They don't mind because they're not quite sure what the ideology behind heavy metal is. To them it's just loud music, and anyway I rarely play it when they can listen.

    That first video was AWESOME. I haven't watched Heavy Metal In Baghdad. I should, but my 'to watch' list is huge right now. As for One, it's classic, but I don't really care for what Apocalyptica has done to it (or for what Apocalyptica has ever done Tongue )
