God, those two blog entries read like a primer in how to have an unhappy marriage (for the girl, of course). Proof that miserable bahus will in turn age into miserable ammi jaans who will in turn subjugate their daughter-in-laws the de way they were subjugated when they were new brides. Certainly NOT a recipe for a happy marriage or family.

I have visited two Muslim countries in my life so far; Pakistan and Morocco. I can say with certainty that Pakistani women are definitely more meek and intimidated by men than Moroccan women. Then again Arab women seem to be more assertive and the ones I've known would speak their minds openly which not many Pakistani women do IMO.
