DISCLAIMER: This is purely for comic effect. At Allah's expense.
I think that there's too much Allah bashing on this thread.
I mean, come on, it's obvious that Allah has special needs and picking on Him because of all the mistakes He's made is just plain, wrong bullying. So stop it you lot....and learn to appreciate Allah for Who He truly is.
I dedicate this to Allah, the light of my life. Shakespeare inspired me, but it was my Imaan that allowed me to perservere with this:
Shall I compare thee to a winter’s night?
Though winter still can be a majestic sight,
But you, O’ Merciful, I dread to see,
Your rapturous rebukes are such a fright!
Like a lion fascinated by his majestic roar,
You roar with your words, roar, roar, roar,
Though Omniscient you may claim to be,
Unbeknownst to you, we find you such a bore!
O You who are wise in the ways of Science,
The One who may have kick started the process of evolution,
Or maybe You didn’t,
Whatever the case may be,
The fault is ours and not Yours for this confusion,
Have Mercy Allah You fine Scribe You,
I curse my feeble intellect all the time,
Again and again I spit at my reflection,
For not being as clever as You to appreciate,
The grammar, the poetry, the wit
Of your inimitable, majestic final revelation
Allah, this wretched Servant of Yours has one thing to say,
If You had indeed ordered us to pray,
A very precise five times a day,
Why the obsession with having us bend over,
And then stick our arses in the air,
When a simple utterance would make you appear less gay,
But who am I to contradict the greatest Judge,
Who said to be gay is okay,
But to practise it is a death sentence,
I bow down to Your incomparable Wisdom,
Bite my lips when I pray,
Just so long to You it makes sense!
All too often we hear of Your might and power,
Talking as if to a girl you are trying to impress,
Though omnipotent you may claim to be,
All the time we witness the O-Zone deplete,
We are impressed, less and less!
