I have a theory!

you may be thinking that its revolutionary or amazing that this theory will truly amaze you and that I will
now be worthy of a Nobel prize, well possibly but I wouldn't go as far as that.

Any who I shall get tot the basis of what this theory actually is. While pondering and reflecting on life (really?) well actually no. but as i glanced over to the tv i saw the likes of peace tv and islam channel being played, this made me think. considering the fact that there are many muslims around the world would it not be possible that these imams or talkers got into the religion business for the money as well you could see it as an untapped market. So in essence my theory is that people may get into the religion business purely for the economic benefit. Im not saying that everyone is like this or infact that anyone has done so but merely speculating that it could be a possibility.

would very much be interested in the opinions anyone has on this matter.

It's OK, a lot of obvious shit is hidden from us by some inculcated beliefs and religions and shit. I still can't believe it took humanity about (more or less) 200000 years to realize that they are related to other apes and other mammals all of whom have 7 spine thingies (the correct word escapes me due to beer) in their necks and five finger-oids in their arm-leg thingies... And not so long ago those mother-fockers (us) believed that poor animals can't feel pain!!! Oh and yeah most mullahs/priests are in it for the money/childrenz.

An interesting theory should i say seeing how many imams are fighting for a position to lead prayer and deliver sermon in my father's mosque so that they will on be my on his payroll and a recipient for zakkat. It was quite amusing watching them compete all those years and up till now.kinda like a mini power play. Yes some people become imam for monetary reason

I have seen imams fighting over these positions at my local mosque as well, though i think it was
a couple of years ago when things did get out of hand and there was an actual fight in the mosque,
luckily i did not have to witness that

Although its not every imam that are only in it for monetary reasons, yet most of the ones that are in it for free happens to have other means of income.

I think the worst types of this sort who are in it for financial reasons are Church priests and pastors.
