  • The Being Boring Thread!
     OP - October 15, 2011, 08:24 PM

    Little Fly, Thy summer's play
My thoughtless hand has brushed away.

I too dance and drink, and sing,
Till some blind hand shall brush my wing.

Therefore I am a happy fly,
If I live or if I die.

It seems a supreme irony that the greatest, most creative, most intelligent music written by man is considered boring to listen to.

At evening, casual flocks of pigeons make
    Ambiguous undulations as they sink,
Downward to darkness, on extended wings. - Stevens

I can see this is going to turn into a "post a favourite piece of classical music thread"

So we must have some Mozart.

That Mozart posted by Hassan was a brilliant performance! I will, in that case, post some of my all–time favourite by Brahms:
