Not only is the subject matter infinitely more palatable than the opposition, the poetry is more natural than the quran as well, with no unnaturally stretched words to make the meter work

Allah abrogated a verse that didn't give the right impression - but of course replaced it with a better one. (And just for Truth_Seeker I got Abdul Fasiq to recite it)

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيمِ

video, the verse:

Or with: Right hands possession

when you say this, you say: AND WITH instead of OR WITH which is written
in the video. Did you mean to do that?

Yes it is "OR" - I forgot to say or in the English translation... meh!

Doing this has confirmed to me more than ever that not only is the Qur'an not a miracle it's actually not even linguistically a "great" piece of literature - and it took Mo 23 years to come out with it!

Although I've studied classical Arabic - at the end of the day my Arabic is not perfect and I am far removed from 7th century Arabia - and yet just a few hours of mucking about and even I can produce verses that are comparable to those of "the Creator of the Universe". I have no doubt more skilled people than I could do a much better job.

If I had to write poetry like Abu Nuwas or prose like al Jahiz I would have a much harder time and would simply not be able to do it!

After all the claims of inimitability the fact is that the Qur'an is actually quite easy to imitate!
