Islam and Dhimmi Life_An historical account So a friend sent a pm with these words in it
...........................................
I've been debating with a muslim guy who is claiming that Dhimmis (non muslims) have on the whole, throughout Islamic history, been treated very well by muslim rulers. He says he has a load of historical evidence (muslim & non/muslim, western academic) sources that prove it. I'm beginning to think he might be right although I haven;t had time to scrutinize the sources.
Do you have any good counter arguments/evidence to this claim?
So this is indeed an important subject and worth discussing openly., On and off we discuss this subject in different threads that are scattered all over the web and I have done this plenty of times in FFI.
