Hi all,

I have a question..in this 'song' if you can call it that

it says ''the kuffar plan, and work to destroy this deen'' - just wondering, do Muslims actually believe this? I've never met/spoken to any non Muslim who wants to ''destroy'' Islam..

More like they want to destroy us? the lyrics are all about fighting, conquering etc =/

I've spoken to some non-Muslims who want to destroy Islam, but they tend to be as bathsit crazy as the Muslim nutters who want to restore the old cailphate. Birds of a feather.

Perhaps they are referencing the following verses:

It's part of most Muslims delusions of grandeur that everyone in the world is out to ruin Islam every second of every day with diabolical, satanic schemes like the theory of evolution, women's rights, and Christmas ring tones during prayer. It makes them feel better about themselves to think the whole world is always plotting against them.

I wouldn't mind the stricter Islamic interpretations which I view to be closer to what Islam 'should' be being destroyed, however if people want to do the religious ceremonies and not really take into account much what is Islamic or not and just live their life in a good way as Islam and being a Muslim as an identity then that is cool. This would be a bit like me and Christianity, I don't believe in it at all but at Christmas etc I do sometimes still go to church for Carol services cause it is fun and ritualistic etc. I never donate though when the donation plate goes around.

As a victim of Islam and Muslims I want the hard core ideology of Islam to be discredited. I dont want to destroy Muslims. But Muslims do want to eliminate us. I don't like Christianity but I have no intention of destroying Christianity, because I do not have to fear Christians, not even the most bigoted Christians. Even the most intolerant Christian will not harm me. I fear a moderate Muslim more than I fear an intolerant Christian.
