But should it be taken as equally valid? The fact you don't believe it is irrelevant in this situation because I believe it. Or, if the fact you don't believe what I believe is relevant, then you're agreeing it shouldn't be treated as equally valid.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

There is no conflict between religion and science. As any fule kno, religion owns science. Hark ye to Yahoo answers.

No such thing as flying donkey in Islam. There is a possibility that Prophet s.a.w. used a wormhole (معارج) by riding a Buraq once in the event of Isra' and Mi'raj.

A wormhole contracts the distance between two doorways placed separately anywhere in the universe. This isn't really a time travel; this is just a consequence of the length contraction inside a wormhole.

Allah gave this method of transportation to his angels throughout the universe. The Quran calls them ‘Ma'arej معارج’ and describes how angels use them for long distance travel. Today we know that these ‘Ma'arej’ is what scientists call wormholes:

well to be honest depending on how you look at it, I don't believe there is much of a conflict between religion and science. I am speaking in terms of Christianity.

Actually if astral projection is true, then dreams are definitely a method of interdimensional travel.

I seriously doubt astral projection is true. Exploring the subconscious is one thing, having your conscious mind actually leave your body and travel places is about as likely as me sprouting wings and fluttering away.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'

You are close with astral projection. It is the soul temporarily leaving the body.

I would define the soul in the sense of astral projection as being your consciousness.

My point was to show how absurd it is to attach a belief to hypothetical ideas in order to rationalize one's beliefs. It's grasping at straws in order to portray one's beliefs as valid using concepts that have methods of validation. However many fail to understand the concepts used at time have no evidence in support, the idea is completely theoretical. In the end they prove nothing but their own ignorance.
