    I am finding interesting uses of numbers, and wonder if anyone has collated them and asked are there patterns?

    99 names of God
    40 10 10 structure in mohammed's life
    jesus as a third

    a hadith that notes if a woman shows a hair of her head she will spend 70,000 years extra in hell

    I am sure people will know loads more.

    Discussion elsewhere discusses the fiction of making Islam special and different. 

    Maybe it is quite ordinary, using the ideas that were around, like misunderstanding of numbers as being magical.
    When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.
