An Australian couple has said they will kill their own children if the Australian courts recognise the rights of gay couple to adopt.

Nick and Sarah Jensen have taken the dramatic stance after seeing what they call the “sever erosion of Christian principles in modern society.”

They wrote in the Canberra City News, “Our view is that children are a fundamental order of creation. Part of God’s intimate story for human history, and as such the gays shouldn’t be part of it.”

“My wife and I, as a matter of conscience, refuse to recognise the government’s regulation of adoption if it is to include rights for gay couples to raise children.”

“How can we, as good Christians, look to raise children of our own, knowing that a gay couple round the corner are doing the exact same thing in the eyes of the law?”

“Therefore we took the sad decision to kill our children if the government continues its backing of gay rights to include the right to raise children.”

“We do not take this step lightly, and nor do we ask other good Christians to follow in our footsteps, just know what we could not in good conscience raise children in eyes of the lord knowing that gays have ruined this for everyone.”

The Jensens have been hailed as heroes by the Christian community, but as borderline simpletons by anyone with even the remotest concept of empathy for people who were born homosexual.

Canberra resident Simon Williams told us, “Look, they’re as entitled to their opinion as anyone, but if they’re going to stop doing things just because gay people are allowed to do it, how about they start with ‘breathing’?”
