  • Saudi influence over the British government: the not-so-hidden story
     OP - October 12, 2015, 11:10 AM

So why is the UK government so deeply engaged with the Saudi "justice" system? David Allen Green ventures an answer.

    Quote
And so it does not matter what Saudi Arabia does to its own people, or what it does over here; the UK has to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear. The prime minister in that interview even used the euphemism “punishment procedures” for the crucifixions and beheading and floggings and torture that go on. That is how bad things have got: two and two no longer equal four.

There is a word for doing things out of fear of what a country with power will do if it is displeased with you: appeasement. There is now nothing the Saudi state can do that the UK will say is too much: the appeasement of Saudi Arabia will always be more important.

    Source.

Aaand... the prisons deal is no more, thanks to Messers Corbyn and Gove.

A little detail that turned out to be on the money.

Meanwhile, the Saudi fightback only targets Corbyn, and says nothing about Gove.

    There's Saudi diplomacy for you.

Saudia Arabia is the land of hypocrisy.
I read today their message about the mutual respect between UK and KSA.
They claimed that they are holy land as they are the source of Islam and that KSA and USA worked together to protect UK from terrorism.

Two plus two must be four.
Principles can't be divided or separated.
I think the west must be direct and honest with themselves.
