Turkish Labna dip

Well, I don't know where else to post this. There is a dip I get from a turkish restaurant that is labnah with dill, garlic, and walnuts in it. I always forget to ask the name of this, I just tell them "the labnah' when I order (it's a deli, no menu). Does anyone here know what the dip is? I'm just looking for a recipe so I can make it with the right proportion of dill and garlic. Thanks.

Very useful.

I have the plain labnah, I can get that easily enough from an Arab deli near my house. Also, the ingredients are easily available. But the Turksih deli is quite far from here, so I only go every two or three months...

I had labna in the fridge, and I looked at at after reading your comment, and I realized I will never look at it the same way again.

yeah might have to do... i just don't want to waste a container of lebneh by getting the proportions wrong. for some reason i get really OCD or whatever about things like that.

Lots of people are happy to share recipes if you ask nicely. Give it a go if you can't get back over there soon. Alternatively, next time you are over there lavish praise on the stuff to butter them up, then explain your unfortunate circumstances and hit them with a request for the recipe.
