I honestly find it extremely ridiculous how some muslims can try to defend Surah 4:34. All of their fancy trickery and gymnastics looks so foolish. This muslim apologist actually buys that Toothstick/cloth/symbolic beating nonsense. Jeez its honestly hard to watch.

I have watched other such videos!

At least there is a small minority of scholars currently who interpret 4:34 as condemn rather than beat-that interpretation is incorrect & fanciful given the various hadiths speaking of wife beating but their intention is right.
