Then we should ensure no one hears about Islam?

    Yes?

It would be one of the most compassionate thing we can do for another individual?

    What say folks?

Are you compassionate enough to do this?

I guess we should start an anti-dawah mission that would consist of slashing tires of daees who plan to visit virgin-kafir territory.

    Well said Rubaiyat.

If those who haven't heard about Islam go to paradise then Muhammad should've kept his mouth shut.  He should've kept his hallucinations to himself.

I already responded to this objection in that thread. Guess you did not read which is understandable as I myself have a hard time following the swarm of posts of that topic. Please do not divert the discussion as I hardly have time to deal with the many members who post in that topic.
If you have further objections to any of my posts please post it there.

    Regards, Smiley

There is no obligation for you to respond to any of the post.

    So don't worry.

I did not expect you to respond to this.

It is just for amusement for the rest of us because I already heard the replies to this questions many times before ;-)

From what I understand, there is a school of thought within the Hanafi school that the minimum requirement is belief in God and if a person rejects Islam because of what was being presented was a distorted implementation, he won't be held responsible for rejecting Islam.

If Islam is all about peace, tolerance and Justice then almost every Islamic movement out there is a distorted implementation.

    great idea! Cheesy

Salem1111 is wrong to state that.

According to Islam, or at least the view of Ahlul Sunnah (Sunni's), those who have not heard the Message, will be judged too, and can indeed be thrown in 'Hell'. There is no guarantee that they will automatically enter 'Paradise'.

For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. For those who refuse to understand, no explanation is possible.

thats true - you could also argue that giving you Islam gives you the tools to being a better person and make it more likely for you to go to heaven.

On the flip side,  I would say heaven is unfairly biased to those that live within a certain radius of Arabia.

    Judged for what?

Not worshipping God as he demands?

    or not behaving nicely?

In that case God does not need to send the Quran does he?

He can judge them on their merit as good person or not

    and not following Islam.

And does not have to bother with sending prophets etc... what a complete waste of time that was. It only caused confusion! ;-)

You would be judged as to whether you would accept the Message or not. Whether you accept God or not. Not about behaving nicely.

    That don't make sense.

How can they be judge on a message they have not heard?

Surely they can only be judged on how well they behaved?

"Is there a God? Is there a point to life before heaven? If God wants what is best for everyone it could immediately place everyone in heaven. If we want what is best for our children, we could kill them, and then God would send them to heaven because they were innocent. That we do not do this means that there is no God, no heaven, or that there is some purpose to life and evil. However, there is no such purpose. Babies who die (for example, in natural disasters) go to heaven, therefore there is no essential point of life, nor any essential reason that we have to endure suffering and go through the tests of life before we can go to heaven. This shows no moral God exists."
