  • Ouija board experiences?
     OP - December 22, 2009, 08:55 AM

I know that ouija boards are actually moved by your motor reflex (i.e you unconsciously move your hand a bit to guide the coin), but I've nevertheless had some fun experiences with them. Despite them not being real, lets share our stories of what we came across when we tried them?  dance

I had come across a supposed spirit which died in an accident and was 80 years old. It knew the answer to everything I knew, when someone asked something I didn't know about it didn't give an answer, but when he told me the answer, it went straight to the answer (i was the one with a finger on the coin).  parrot

Best ouija board story would be when I was 15, and me and my friends decided to up the fear factor by sneaking into the local cemetary late at night to do the ouija on the oldest grave we could find.

There was a massive wall around the cemetary, but on the canal side, to climb into the cemetary, there was some overgrown rubbish and rubble to boost yourself over with.  On the cemetary side there was no helpful pile of rubbish, just a fucking super high wall.  The drop down was hilarious.

Anyway we find a super old grave, think it was 18th century, very spooky looking.  We laid everything down, set it all up, and then abandoned it at a run because we didn't realise there were guard dogs, bloody rottweilers  Cheesy.

Off we run, I'm running with the most terror I've ever felt in my young life. We can hear the dogs and the guards getting closer, we reach the wall and thanks to there being no footholds, all my friends manage to find a way up.  Well I was pretty crap at gym, never made it to the top of the rope in class, so this wall wasn't happening.

I'm crying shouting up at my friends to throw me something lol because "I don't want to die".

I jumped for their hands, and literally as I'm laying on the top of this thin wall, one leg on each side, the massive dogs hit the wall and one of the fuckers jumps up at me, causing me to lose my limited balance and tumble over the side, the canal side.

    Lmao that night was hilarious.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

One time when I was about 8 years old I was playing with our Ouija board and was concentrating really hard with my eyes closed when I felt the pointer-thingy move under my hands.  When I opened my eyes there was my older stepsister, moving the pointer-thingy with a pen!  I was so disappointed!

On another note, I used to do Tarot readings and even though I had to use the guide as I didn't have all the cards memorized I did a reading for one of my friends which at the time was sombre as the cards told me that her favourite grandmother was going to die, and a few other things which I can't remember, and it all happened!

I also did a reading for my mom and that, too turned out to be true, i.e. that my grandfather was going to pass away and as my mom would essentially be the head of the family she was going to be facing some difficult times.

Too bad I got rid of my Tarot deck when I converted to Islam!  finmad
