  • Hello Everyone in Oxfordshire and Beyond..

First things first, I am an irregular contributor to these forums. I just wanted to say hello again to everybody after a long absence and invite people to get in touch, especially if you live in or near Oxford. Originally, I'm from Birmingham, but live outside Oxford now. Occasionally taking trips to London, Birmingham, Reading, Bristol, etc. I would love to meet like-minded ex-muslims here in Oxfordshire. We could chat via IM then when we're ready we can meet in person in central Oxford so that we can be sure we are both genuine to the other. Perhaps we can start our own network of friends that provide mutual support (or join one that already exists here)?
Hope to hear from you soon. Imran.

    Welcome ImranQ!

Like you I'm an irregular contributor.  However, every couple of months I try and meet up face to face over a drink with other ex-muslims in London and have a great chat, laugh and socialise.  I think's it's fair comment to say one in three muslims don't really believe, and actually having a get together re-assures you you're definitely NOT alone.  Why don't you check out the current two Meetup groups at www dot meetup dot com/topics/exmuslim/gb/

In June 2017 I had the great pleasure of meeting Maryam Namazie at the Secular Conference.
