    Take care dear friend, and what kind of a GOD that will punish you for praising a translation work. You are not praising the work it self, you merely liked the translators talent to mirror the Arabic version with an Excellent English one.

    @ Hass, maybe you should translate the Quran and do it literaly without any tafseer! No "Beating lightly" no kissing Allah's ass. Just the translation!

    Hell, I should have read this thread earlier. This is great stuff. I'm useless at Arabic but my written English is very good indeed and I'm a fast reader. If you want any help with proofreading the translated sections I'm up for that.

    debunker, if you move to Saudi Sands., don't forget yeezevee.. If you settle there, Open an international Travel agency  as a side business and couple it to tourism.. BUT BE A GOOD MUSLIM when you are doing all that. GOOD Muslim means you should be good for the ruler NOT good to original Islam.

    Please do, Oz - I linked to Aziz's pdf above (it is also in another thread with a similar title) and Aziz I'm sure can tell you how to access the pdf to edit it.

    RIBS: the easy way to edit PDF's is if you have Adobe Reader installed on your box. That will open PDF's and allow you to save them as a .txt file, which of course is very simple to edit. In fact we should probably make the whole thing into a .txt just for convenience while this is going on.

    What I normally do (just because it's what I have) is use Reader to open them and save as a .txt, then edit that in Open Office before exporting again as a PDF. It's a bit of messing around but it works, and I rarely have to edit PDF's anyway.

    there is, in the Southern (mountainous) region and at the two shores (Jeddah, especially), but it's meant for locals, as a desperate attempt to stop the money bleeding during the summer months abroad.

    I do correct the mistakes I find, but I haven't proof-read it thoroughly.

    Oh, and forget about editing the PDF file. Everybody, please, wait until I'm finished with my browser app (PatchPad) and then use it to post your corrections to the text. I insist on this, because collaboration in this way is very efficient.
