    My family lives in Devon, which may explain my affection for good cider. You can't compare most commericial ciders (which are little more than carbonated water, ethanol and flavouring) to the traditionally produced local varities you'll find in SW England. Unfortunately, recent marketing campaigns to make flavoured "ciders" (usually diluted with ice) popular has killed off whatever respect most had for cider as a drink.  no

    Yeah I experimented with wine. It sucks big time. White is more bearable though.

    If I wanted to get drunk I'd go for cognac, scotch, vodka, or rum.

    cognac and whiskey are still hmm

    i still mix my drinks lol its embarresing i just cant handle the scotch without a mixer, its too strong

    TBH I still find scotch a bit too strong for me. That's why I HAVE to smoke with scotch. One sip, one puff, one sip, one puff.

    I wouldn't drink vodka neat, generally. One too many bad experiences drinking with Poles, I'm afraid.  Cheesy

    Neat rum or bourbon are my favourite tipples these days. I'll sip a good single malt when in the mood, though.

    When clubbing I'll generally go with rum and coke as a safe option.
