    Well, I'm fucking excited and its only around one month away!

    How many of you guys are going to watch it? and if yes, who are you rooting for?

    Yes. England. And it's not because I live here now. I remember rooting for them as far back as Euro 2000 when they lost to Portugal and Romania. I've always been an anglophile in a way I guess.

    I'm rooting for Germany and Brazil. There is no way I will support the Italian team, they are a bunch of fucking cheaters.

    I will be stuck to the telly and the web, watching at least the highlights, but more whenever I can find time. I'm rooting for whoever plays the best! I usually don't decide who I'd like to see win, till the Finals, but it's probably going to be either the Italians or the Brazilians... jury's out.

    I want England to win, but they won't.

    It'll be either Spain or Brazil.

    Can't wait to see the fireworks of Maradona, the tantrums, the rants, the bellyflop celebrations, the madness of that crazy fucker!

    Wouldn't mind seeing Argentina winning it just to add to the legend of that crazy bastard genius! But I don't think they stand a chance with him in charge.

    Even without an outstanding team they manage to make it to the later stages of tournaments time and time again, don't they? They just have that level of consistency at international level. Can see them getting to the quarter finals. On paper (ie: 'in theory') they don't look so strong this year, but you can never count them out, but I just don't see them as contenders for the trophy.
