Yeah, you've posted this one before. Wanna know the funny thing? I used to have that exact same curtain and rod combo a few years back. Also, the front door looks similar to that of the one in my grandparents house, where I spent some years living.

And for the record I don't have an American flag hanging up (never have), my Wolf ammo boxes are much smaller, I don't have blond hair, nor do I watch the TV often, and I only have two of the weapons in that photograph (though I would LOOOOVE to have that M1A1/M-14-- way out of my price range though-- for the cheapest new semi-auto M1A1 it's like $2k, and I can't even begin to imagine how much a select-fire/M-14 version would run).

    fuck you

I know. I looked for one without the American flag. And I tried to photoshop the Bible into the Communist Manifesto but my photoshop skills are non-existent.

Oh, yeah-- missed the Bible. Off-topic for a sec-- I've never understood why anyone would own multiple AR receivers for personal use if they are all the same caliber and same gas system, but plenty of gun nuts do for some reason. I mean, I guess it would make sense if you were stockpiling to equip a militia/insurgent group or something, but most of these guys are pretty individualistic and are just buying them for themselves. Maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt and assume one is in 6.8 SPC, one in 7.62 NATO and the other in standard 5.56 NATO. Oh, and he's got what looks to be two Glocks and a Springfield XD (basically a Glock rip off, and incidentally the weapon used to murder Pim Fortuyn)-- how bout some fuckin variety in your handguns for chrissakes? [/end totally off-topic Yank gun nut rant]

Well, if you're talking handguns and you don't need it to be easily concealable I'd go with a mid-frame Smith and Wesson chambered in .38 Spl and use JHP +P ammo either in moon clips or speed loaders to make reloading faster.

Advantage is since it's a revolver, it's easier to use and almost no chance of jams or misfires. Disadvantage is lower ammo capacity and slower reload time than an automatic. Be sure to get some practice in, either at a range or if you're really in the boonies in your backyard, but use cheap ammo for that, JHPs are expensive.

Really though, if it's not something for carry but something to keep at home, you're better off with a reliable semi-auto rifle/carbine, especially if you're out in the boonies and don't have to worry about bullets going through walls and shit (though even in that case you could buy pre-fragmented ammo, but it's fuckin pricey shit). In the upper end of that price range you can get yourself a very nice Yugoslavian or Bulgarian-make AK (or converted Russian Saiga)-- for the latter two you can get them in 5.56mm or 5.45mm if you want less kick than the standard 7.62x39 round. I'd get one with a side-folding stock and polymer (as opposed to wood) furniture, and spend a bit extra to get yourself a nice red-dot sight and a forward grip.

When you get serious about buying, drop me a PM and we can talk more about it.

    fuck you

Besides you should only need one shot... It would probably blow off whatever body part you hit.
