In Bruges was lame. Overhyped and I thought it was very boring at parts.

And yes, I judge things by their internet popularity.

    In Bruges was OK.

Out of 10 how would you rate Gladiator. And why?

9 for the score alone.  001_wub

Gladiator: 9.5/10 - it had everything apart from a developing storyline filled with riddles which only works the first time like in The Matrix

Won't say it sucked, but I was disappointed by it, especially after seeing History of Violence just a year or so earlier by the same director and actor, which was fuckin awesome.

What was wrong with the ending? I liked the ending. I love endings where almost everyone dies.

    Sucked

The cinematography alone made me put it on my list. There's some extremely gorgeous shots in the film. The plot did suck a little though.

    Haven't seen it yet. :(

    Haven't seen that either

The ending just left me empty. Everyone dying in the end really did sour the movie for me.

Just watched Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island - great movie, enjoyed muchly particularly because of the acting & directing.  I'd give it 8/10.
