    teapotist... yes, I absolutely agree; you're 100% right. It bothers me that Muslims don’t take this issue to heart, just because I have family members who are still Muslims. I love them, but they are blind blind blind

    fa aina ma tuwallu fa thamma wajhullah

    and found this:
     
    Al-Baqara (The Cow) [2:115]



    Walillahi almashriqu waalmaghribu faaynama tuwalloo fathamma wajhu Allahi inna Allaha wasiAAun AAaleemun

    It's says "The Cow" it doesn't say "holy" at all. It's because there is the story of how the Jews worshipped the golden cow while Moses was gone.

    I'm not Hindu I still say it to joke around.  Most Hindus still say they're Hindu's but dont bother going to temples, fasting, or follow the dogmas anyways it's more of a habit to say that because it gives them an identity, what's wrong with that?

    And contradiction always exist in the Quran, and surprise surprise, it is in the same (albaqara) surah, just few verses down:

    Indeed We see the turning of your face to heaven, so We shall surely turn you to a qiblah which you shall like; turn then your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are, turn your face towards it, and those who have been given the Book most surely know that it is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not at all heedless of what they do. (144)

    Infact there are more than 3 that says turn your face to Mecca!

    I also realised this.  Your feet will point towards Kaaba in two possible ways: facing directly towards and facing directly opposite.
