It will be your first Ramadhan as an apostate.  If you have to, fake it, dude.  You might even think up some valuable philosophical ideas, as you brood away while everyone is worshipping around you in delusion.  I remember going to Islamic talks as a closet atheist and while the preacher was preaching, I was thinking of Daniel Dennett's ideas about how preachers are such great memetic engineers.  They really know how to preach with great effect to spread their memes. Cheesy

So you can use it as a learning exercise in philosophy or whatever.  Cheesy

lol that is well funny Grin

In the past I've read a few riddles/puzzles on the internet just before heading out and have passed the time by trying to solve them!

Heh, I was supposed to lead prayers this ramadhan too. My dad wants to know why I haven't completed my hifz. I told him I have (I haven't) but I don't it well enough to perform taraweeh.  lipsrsealed

You have no idea how much this thread made my heart stop when I noticed the title.
I thought time worked against me and Ramadan would start before I left for Uni!

    Then I read this:
(I know ramadan isn't coming for a little but I want to be prepared for that hell...)

I don't even have money to do that!

I have very very little money, until my student loans come in which won't until around end of Oct. Currently asking parents for money for the moving out process - My older brother owes me anyway, he can pay them back.

CEMBers should rent a chalet every Ramadan and tell our parents we're going for a Ramadan camp. Then we'll have a month of parties and orgies.
