If it wasnt for the Nigerian keeper Eniyema, it would have surely been a cricket score....  lipsrsealed

Argentina looked good, total control, should have won by a fair few. Will reserve judgment until they meet a decent side though, this Nigerian team were blunt.

well the game is over and we lost, but our goal keeper was outstanding, because we could have lost by a larger margin, we just have to perfect our finishing against Korea and Greece!!!

Messi wanted to score so bad I felt sorry for him Grin

Worked hard as hell. Very impressed with Tevez the man is a tank.

I hope this was just a warm up for Messi. His technique is sublime. He's a little magician. He was the best player on the pitch and should have scored a few.

Nigeria tried hard, but they were toothless in attack. I dont expect them to do much against Greece and South Korea for that matter. Nigeria's defence is solid though, so not easy to score against them.

I'm up for it. Lol....Americans really want to beat England! I think beating England will be like winning the World Cup for them. I expect a tight game. Maybe a 1-1 draw.

I've got no idea how tonights game is going to play out. I could easily see a slow starting England being held to a draw. But I think we'll win.

    Come on England!

Why does England never win though? Or get to the finals? You'd think with such a strong team they'd do better?

Its a long story. Poor coaching and management structure has something to do with it. Mismanagement too.

I wish more non-white English people waved the English flag, it's been tainted with the dirty fingers of nationalists and bigots.

Lots of them do mate, I've seen loads of black and Asian folks in England shirts and with England flags. Don't know if those Asians were Muslims though, could be Hindus or Sikhs, but the England national team is supported amongst minorities in England.

oh you'll find tons of British Asians (Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis) supporting England in football and wearing the England shirt.

Yes the Nigerian goalkeeper was great. If he keeps performing like this, I reckon he will be snatched by a European team before the next season.

    my prediction

    USA - 0 and England - ITS OVER 9000!!!

Don't take the US team lightly. They reached the final in the last FIFA Confederations Cup beating African champions Egypt and European champions Spain and losing 2-3 to Brazil in the final (with great difficulty for the Brazilians).

Stupid fucks with their horns. Now I am watching the World Cup on mute. You can't hear the crowds cheer, I can barely hear the commentators all because of that stupid horn. It sounds like a hornets nest down there! Ban the fucking thing! finmad

Thank you South Africa! Thanks for ruining the World Cup

another point I want to make. Watch FIFA 2006, and watch 2010. Look at the difference in the crowds. The crowds in 2006 were good. Clapping, cheering, and a great vibe. It was relaxing to watch, but this is something else. Bringing 2010 to SA was a mistake IMO.

Sorry if I am ranting, but I love football and I am disappointed Cry
